Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify business needs and challenges, and define technology-based solutions.

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, workflows, and system specifications.

Work closely with IT teams, including developers, project managers, and system analysts, to ensure that business requirements are accurately translated into functional specifications.

Create use cases, user stories, process flows, wireframes, and other documentation to guide the development and implementation of IT solutions.

Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability.

Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to understand requirements, validate findings, and ensure alignment on project goals.

Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and track project progress to ensure timely and successful implementation.

Conduct system testing and validation to ensure that solutions meet business requirements and perform as expected.

Monitor and assess the impact of implemented solutions, ensuring they align with business goals and continuously drive improvement.

Provide support in post-implementation reviews and user training.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions to meet business needs.

Ensure that solutions adhere to industry standards, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an IT or technology company.

Proven track record of analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and working with technical teams to implement technology solutions.

Strong experience in software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile, and waterfall methodologies.

Experience working with cross-functional teams, including IT developers, project managers, and business stakeholders.

Hands-on experience in developing use cases, user stories, business process models, and system documentation.

Familiarity with business intelligence tools, reporting systems, and data analysis is a plus.

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of IT systems, software development processes, and technology solutions.

Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, MS Project) and business analysis tools (e.g., Balsamiq, Lucidchart, Visio).

Experience with SQL or other querying languages to gather and analyze business data.

Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and customer relationship management (CRM) tools is a plus.

Experience in designing and implementing data models, dashboards, and reports is beneficial.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and reporting tools.

Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify issues and recommend practical solutions.
